The worldwide leader manufacturer of cables and energy distribution, NEXANS, recently developed a new offer dedicated to rural and urban electrical supply, by using a solution based on “ABC” cables (0.6 – 1 KV). This offer presented an extremely efficient and economical solution for rural and urban electrification, which allows for energy transfer to remote zones which are geographically isolated or difficult to reach at a competitive cost.
During a period of one year, NEXANS worked closely with the team of which has performed systematic prospection of the African continent targeting national power utilities, ministerial agencies for energy, and contractors, which are the principal decision makers for rural and urban electrification.
This intensive work enabled NEXANS to position its offer advantageously to address major tenders in Africa and to promote its solution (products and services), quality, and cost benefits. This project, a real challenge for Daydream’s team, who travelled through more than 15 African countries, in various and sometimes complex political and cultural contexts, enabled the generation of an important pipeline of opportunities for NEXANS, participating in the African continent’s sustainable development.
